I guess I'm just blown away because if you look at this stuff with even an average IQ of 90 your going to realize what crap this is, yet people still intentionally spread it and even worse, some believe it.
@kravietz well it downy help that the stupid and insidious have access to the internet to spread their wares.
I think the internet should be like driving, you should have a license to use it because you can do alot more dmg with it then a vehicle.
@Wetrix You will probably have to agree that there is a link between Bill Gates and vaccination. That doesn't mean he caused Corona. But it makes it likely that he has some kind of vaccination agenda. Microsoft is also listed on the ID2020 website which makes it at least plausible that he aims to create some kind of digital identity thing.
@crazydeepgrowth I don't think that's any link tbh. Gates was just weary of this happening before it actually happened.
He's been putting alot of money into alot of things for the betterment of mankind since he stepped down from Microsoft.
People will always try to find things that support their biases. That's where conspiracy theories come in.

@Wetrix you mentioned IQ but you have to remember, there are actual people with an IQ below 90. Its like George Carlin said, "think of how stupid the average person is and realize half of them are stupider than that". I don't think most people are stupid, but there are 1-2 billion actual dumb people in the world just by the odds. They live their daily lives, make decisions, and many of them believe nonsense. It cannot be helped really.

@Wetrix no way. You can't run someone over with the internet. A license to talk to other people? That's pretty authoritarian. What if *you* don't pass the test?

It's not that simple - people were driven into this black-and-white conspiracy thinking by a decades of disrespect to science and rational arguments used by politicians and various activists who used them for their short-term gain without thinking about long-term consequences.
Last century saw this retreat from reason in the form of "Hegelian bite", then communism, then postmodernism and two world wars on the way.
Very curious what we'll have!
