Apparently Google Chrome includes software_reporter_tool.exe, which scans your entire hard disk for executables to analyze and it reports the results to Google

@Wetrix Yep. Also, license agreement for Android allows them to read and analyze all of your contact data and your correspondence with others, including emails.

@Wetrix Why am I totally not shocked?Oh well,because it's fucking Google and that's exactly what you'd expect from a spyware company like that 🀒 #FuckOffGoogle

@jr @Wetrix Yes,but the post just appeared here in the federated timeline.

@nipos @jr yes it was classified as an older post but first I'd seen or heard of it and thought it wouldn't hurt to let other people know as I'm 100% sure chrome is still doing this. πŸ™‚πŸ˜›

@nipos I'm not surprised either but I am a little shocked that Google went this far. Even for them. 😳

@Wetrix Really, really don't understand why anyone would still use anything that came out the hell hole called Google. Especially Chrome, what a piece of Malware!

@hansup me either but since it's bundled with alot of things, people that don't know better just use what's been put in front of them.

@Wetrix That's true and understandable, but I also see a lot of people that should know better and are just too stubborn and lazy to change their ways. Not to speak of those that develop only for Chrome and get all excited over the next stupid candy feature that already is only available in Chrome. Blind tech junkies fed by the evil dealer.
If browsers were cars, Chrome would be an ugly Hummer.

@hansup this is a big problem to. Alot of people (like Facebook users) know it's garbage by they still use it anyway because they can't be bothered.

@Wetrix
What is this "exe"? Must I set this executable? 🀣

@Wetrix
Antivirus (these software things against malware)

@Wetrix I wonder who makes these decisions. I can't phantom that very high-level management is not involved in making these decisions.
