This is a pretty big sign as Libra was essentially a consortium, and PayPal was a member of that consortium. If a member is backing out things don't look good for Libra.

@Wetrix governments don't like it because it threatens to take their monopoly on money and be left in the hands of a consortium (read: cartel) of corporations.
IMO neither are fit to control money. I think we had a discussion on this a while ago but governments are only capable of the abuses they do because they control the supply, value and peoples access to money. This is bad, and it is just as bad, probably worse, for corporations to control money.
