@c1t1z3n0n3 you can't build backdoors for some things though. Even apple can't decrypt what their users say.

I am guessing you have not seen the over 400 gag orders sent out in the last 2 years with accompanying National Security Letters. if the law is signed the users wouldnt know until a FOIL request was actully responded to with truthful information.
@c1t1z3n0n3 it wouldn't be able to be kept quiet. To many leakers in companies.
Even if this did happen people would just start using apps not developed in the USA or the UK.
The smart ones anyway lol 😂

right now they cannot, but if the law requires it they will roll out an update that would allow it.
