The stereotype is that autistic people don't like physical affection but all of my autistic friends really like hugging me. I'm sure there's also some that dislike it as well due to sensory issues or something. I was wondering what the real proportions are :)

The replies to this post made me want to go a bit more specific with the scenarios where the hugging happens :)

Scenario one: you and a close friend or partner hug after they ask you. Would you likely enjoy the hug?

@Some_Person I might do it but it would feel awkward and forced so no, I don't think I'd enjoy it much.
