Tried a few different privacy search engines lately and settled on DDG.

There's actually a decentralized one but it's slow as hell and the results were BAD lol πŸ˜‚

I typed in a actresses name and all that came up was really bad hardcore porn videos πŸ™„πŸ“ΉπŸ‘ŽπŸ»

@phlox yes I tried that as well but DDG just seems better to me, at least for me 😁

Also it doesn't use Google search results whereas SM does.

We have a searx at stoptrackingus.io. you can set all your own preferences and use the custom url to build into your browser as the default search engine.

@c1t1z3n0n3 oh cool I'll check it out!

What engines does it use to get results?

@Wetrix
If you go to preferences you can set it to use a whole of a hell lot lol. And the best part is you can export the search results to csv and json. The IP that is shared with the search engines you chose is out server IP and not yours. Google, want, duckduckgo, startpage, github, and wikipedia are just a few you can turn off and on.

@c1t1z3n0n3 awesome I'll check this out when I get up! Have a good one πŸ˜Žβ¬†οΈ
