@Wetrix I totally relate! everyone is lovely and responds and cares about each other. It makes me want to give back somehow
@ben_dw mint is like windows xp and Ubuntu is more like.... Kinda like win 10 but still Ubuntu.

Just not good for gaming sadly.
If Linux distros could run games like windows I think you'd see a mass exodus to Linux.

I know right. I think that for a lot of people the loss of tolerance for different world views was partly the result of constant incivility. When you've got an intellectually diverse network and people are actually civil it just seems to me everyone is less hostile.
I've got a few of pleroma/mastodon accounts on a few instances, and even though they federate, i prefer this one because i feel the most comfortable here.
