If anyone is looking for a good secure sharing protocol I really love sync from bittorrent. It's owned by resilio now but still the same and free.
End to end encryption and no servers involved. 🔓👏🏻
Also the speeds are as fast as your connections can take it. I've transferred 2 gig in 20 minutes or less on average etc

@Wetrix I have a License for resilio. I love it. It is not open source, which could be problematic.
An alternative is syncthing.
