@tadzik
You do make a very good point there.
K-9 Mail is fully Open source with PGP Encryption.
@marc0janssen
Now that's true!
Tutanota doesn't only encrypt your inbox but also your calendar and contacts!
Protonmail doesn't...
I'm not completely sure if Tutanota has better privacy.
ProtonMail uses AES256
while
Tutanota uses AES128
But still, Tutanota is very good!
@marc0janssen @tadzik
Makes sense ;)
@marc0janssen @protonmail @Tutanota
Hello marc0janssen!
I use ProtonMail, Tutanota, and K-9 Mail (for my Gmails I don't use much) for my Phone.
I use Protonmail, Tutanota, and Thunderbird for my PC.
I really wished I had a premium Protonmail or Tutanota account...
My dad doesn't really let me :-(
(But he's still awesome!)
Thanks for asking!
Both Protonmail and Tutanota support custom domains in their Premium versions (sadly).
For Android, K-9 Mail ( @k9mail ) supports POP3/IMAP, and you could use OpenKeychain for PGP.
For PC, Thunderbird Mail does the same as K-9 Mail. You could also add the Extension, "TorBirdy" to connect through Tor.
Again, thanks for asking!
@ademalsasa
Thank you so much!!
Of course I will do that!
My whole channel is on privacy lessons like Privacytools io's
and PRISM-Break's!
@supernova
Yeah, I know about that one.
I wouldn't use it because it's not open source.
Nor would I use Opera..
@supernova
How could I have Forgotten!!!!
Thank you so much for reminding me!
I would still say F-droid( @fdroidorg ) is more secure though ;)
@supernova
That looks pretty decent!
I'll try to check it out!
Thanks ;-)
@EMPEROR
In general terms, that would be true.
@lanodan @fdroidorg
Yup!
Looks like F-droid has a great taste of privacy!
@fdroidorg @lanodan
Ok, thank you F-droid!
@a1batross @lanodan
Makes sense and it is :-(
@a1batross
Thank you!
It's sad how Google earns almost all their money out of people's data.
In Short terms long: Google is a pile of shit (generally)
@a1batross @lanodan
Agreed
@a1batross @lanodan
Yes.. I guess I shouldn't have posted this junk..
Thank you everyone for you help, I will try to do something..
@lanodan
That's are very good thing to do!
Sorry I'm still a beginner..
