@krock There isn't one to my knowledge. If there is then it would not be likely to be as useful as liked in as it would not be popular enough to have many of the same benefits.

@krock @thedeltaflyer This is such just false and harmful. Just because GitHub is owned by Microsoft doesn't make it bad. GitHub doesn't use unnecessary cookies, they don't sell your data, etc. GitLab (and for the most part other code platforms of the same like) are funded primarily by ads or sale of users' data.

@Wetrix Make sure you don't have the app restricted in the app's battery settings and that the app is allowed to use data in the background.

@ultem Sorry, I'm too used to people who are being dead serious with information. Sorry again, have an amazing rest of your day.

@ParmuTownley Android uses a Linux-esc kernel but that's it. Android is not Linux. Linux phones are insanely insecure and terrible for privacy. Anything saying to the contrary is just demonstrably false.

@tilduke Right, bots or reports bots. If I wanted to see someone's Twitter feed spamming me then I'd use Twitter (or Nitter.)

@redcoqui That's the simplest and most brief way I can explain it, if you'd like to learn more, Nitter has great documentation and NixNet can be found at nixnet.services/ .

@redcoqui Nitter is to Twitter like Invidious is to YouTube. Nitter is a privacy respecting lightweight front-end for Twitter that allows you to see all of the same content without the same front-end tracking. It can be self-hosted just like Invidious, one of these many hosters is NixNet. NixNet is an organization that hosts many different services such as SearX, DNS, XMPP, and much more in what they claim is a very private manor.

@Wetrix It gets better as it goes along! Yeah I mean I hate that its only seven episodes, but at the same time at least they wrap it up nicely. I hate it when shows leave on a cliffhanger thinking they'll get renewed, and are then cancelled leaving a poor ending to the whole thing and just feeling like wasted time in my opinion.

@syntax I have sources for public domain stuff but for modern works that are DRM free I'm not sure. I'd be surprised if there wasn't any.

@redcoqui @joshbdoc Chrome is Chromium except it has large amounts of proprietary Google code in it. Chromium is open source, though it still has some Google code in it. Ungoogled Chromium is Chromium except 100% open source and no Google code.
