I’m not a fan of Singal’s new move. Let a messaging app be just that. There are other secure apps to send crypto
Also, if they’re going through with this.. wouldn’t Monero be a more fitting choice?
@weltsnake This is actually great. Think about it, why did Apple put it in iMessage? Friends to friends and parents to children (primarily). With the new influx of users, there are a lot more of these two groups, and it brings Signal to a market in which is dominated by Apple. It just makes itself a more viable app for people to use as their main and only, and personally I think it's a fantastic move on their part.
@ThreeBadgersInATrenchcoat i don’t know how many people send money via iMessage through Apple Pay but I don’t think that is the most important feature for a messaging app. If signal could send both fiat and a handful of cryptos that would at least make more sense.
I just think their time would be better spent elsewhere
@weltsnake MobileCoin is a bad choice though.
