@ThreeBadgersInATrenchcoat for clarity, just in case.. I did not create the stickers themselves, I just created a pack with stickers y exported from WhatsApp (before deleting it). But people also create their own sticker designs from scratch just for signal.
For my case though, I just followed this really simple guide:

@ThreeBadgersInATrenchcoat and if you don’t want to do that you can just grab stickers from this project, which is endorsed by signal themselves :)
@weltsnake That looks like like a cool project, but I couldn't find any endorsement from Signal. If you had a link to that then I'd really appreciate it.
@ThreeBadgersInATrenchcoat Overall the way it works I think is trustworthy. It’s like an aggregator of packs that are created with the Signal desktop app and the only way to install them is through the signal.art domain, which is what every install link redirects to.
