Why is it so difficult to find a service that can host images like Imgur that respects privacy and doesn't serve a shit ton of unskippable ads to users before they can view the image. I've gone through like ten by now and every one of them shows like "HOT WOMEN IN YOUR AREA" and all that shit before anyone can see the image that I uploaded.
@ThreeBadgersInATrenchcoat Are they really from your area though? #askingtherealquestions
@TheDoctor I mean I was on a Tor node in the Czech Republic, so I'd go out on a limb and say no, though later I did get some more of those ads when I wasn't on Tor, so I suppose only time will tell.
@ThreeBadgersInATrenchcoat HOT WOMEN ON YOUR TOR NODE

@ThreeBadgersInATrenchcoat literally just found this last night and haven’t looked into it but:
It’s a pomf file uploading and sharing instance.
@ThreeBadgersInATrenchcoat Well someone is got to pay hosting for that image site and its infrastructure, if they represent themselves as "free" they must serve ads or sell your data in some way to make money. Nothing to be surprised about.
