What is it with people just praising and shilling Safari for just adding a feature that every browser has had for a while now. I mean it just let's you know if there is as tech garbage on a site and blocks it, but so have Firefox and Brave for YEARS. And even if a browser doesn't come bundled with it, you can just download uBlock Origin, one of the most downloaded extensions of all time. Like yeah its cool that they finally added it but it took them years so they'd better, they're way behind.

@ThreeBadgersInATrenchcoat What did they add? Apple is known for using already-existent technologies and getting praised for inventing said technology.

@nar The best example I can think of is this; You know how Firefox has inbuilt tracking protection and when you et it to strict it blocks a bunch of shit on websites? That's a gross oversimplification but you get my point. Apple added that to Safari and now people are acting like they're the second coming of Christ for doing so. Its fucking obnoxious.

@ThreeBadgersInATrenchcoat Ah. That. It is highly annoying, but it's just Apple's userbase. When Apple makes something new, they act like it's the re-incarnation of Jesus.
