@DragonLich @nixchick@fosstodon.org If you have fully hardened Firefox (hardened all settings, about:config, user.js, plugins, etc.), then you'll be downgrading by using a fork. That said, if you just want something to offer good privacy protections out of the box with minimal tweaking, I'd say IceCat or LibreWolf (maybe, still haven't looking too much into them so it's important to do your own research) are by far your best bet.
@ThreeBadgersInATrenchcoat @nixchick Yeah, I don't really want to get that deep to look on user.js. But I don't have problem with settings and plugins.
I have to look in details what is happening in user.js but instead of this I'll probably try the forks.
