@spla @syntax Fedilab was noticeably slower which kept annoying me so I stuck with tusky. I like tusky

@syntax Welcome to the rabbit hole that is window managers, editors, configs and a never ending stream of neat stuff...

@tgnvs Focused on privacy and only OS choice is windows 10? That's nice :)

@syntax But why stop at i3? There are so many others to try and configure. Bspwm, dwm, herbstluftwm, xmonad, all of them arguably better πŸ˜›

@syntax I once thought as you did. The problem with vim (and me) is that I spent so much time configuring and hunting for the perfect setup that I didn't actually do anything with it most of the time.
When I realized that I switched to IDEs that have good functionality out of the box and offer vim support. That works very well for me and I feel much more productive that way.

@Wetrix Yeah, in my experience it's something that you do for practical reasons but most people eventually grow out of as they realize that they can afford their own place and value their privacy and independence more.

@Wetrix More reason to have others cook for you! And maybe have a fistfight over your approval

@Wetrix I hope you all find a way to deal with it. Romantic trappings can be something of a buzzkill living together...

@Wetrix I wish there was anyone cooking for me. Oh wait, there is. Yay!

@gandalf86 @protonmail I was gonna suggest mailbox.org but they don't seem to accept crypto. Not sure if there even are any services that tick all these boxes

@Wetrix Facebook collects data, people kinda object, Facebook doesn't care. What else is new?

@Wetrix That's the point. The concept of "normal" has limited applicability to people so it's not a super useful concept to think about. Especially if you're fretting about it a lot.

@Wetrix Sounds normal to wonder whether you're normal. To answer you're question: I suspect you are and yet you're not.

@krock I see, yes. In that case, setting up a website with contact information seems like a decent idea.
