Can I trust flatpack on ? I'm hesitant to use something that isn't from the official site / repository.

@gritnot What are your fears then? If you think flatpak might be a bad idea then I suggest researching about it. Also, isn't there a COPR for signal desktop?

@TheDoctor i wasn’t aware of what COPR was until now, but that may be an option. My fear was only that other folks who aren’t on the signal dev team have their hands in at least part of the code. I just want to trust my sources, especially when it comes to something that should be encrypted and protect privacy. COPR May be the way to go.

@gritnot I understand the concern. Building yourself is not an option I take it?
