People need to know how to use Tor appropriately. Whon*x is worth discussion. Self-hosted email is increasingly advisable. Non-Federated social media is a non-starter. There's a lot of areas where you'd be able to comment.

I was commenting from a privacy of messages perspective. Other issues on the corporate side that might make the transition worthwhile include demands for smartphones, increasing hostility towards Thunderbird, captchas, overly aggressive filters, and bots that delete accounts randomly and with limited recourse.
