I'm kinda dissapointed for Google blocking fediverse apps, most of users that read something online about Mastodon will search for apps on Google Play to get on fediverse train and that is only reason why I don't like blocks. On the other hand thank I'm kinda glad that Google is not hosting those apps because fuck Google.
@nikolal Wait, which apps are you talking about? I just had a look and at least tusky and fedilab are on there.

While I originally identified only 3 fediverse apps it appears this has affected almost all the apps in the store. As of yet I havent heard of any app developers who didnt get a notice (please correct me if you have any information that disagrees with that).

There are apps that come with some domains already blocked but as it seems Google doesn't make any difference between them or Google isn't aware of such apps. Anyway I don't think that app devs which block those domains are ultimate voice of reason/ethics and Google has got that part right if it decides to ban fedi apps, it should ban them all.
