This is a dream of an email client! It's refusal to support any of that non standards compliant crap is an extra feature that should put your concerns to rest as well - no active sync or any of that other Exchange based Microsoft garbage, yet handles #Outlook effortlessly.

Filtering is full fledged, with customizable granular notifications by account and folder with audio, starring, prioritizing and colorized labeling.

Everything is local, so your data doesn't have to exist on some 3rd party providers servers, being indexed and read by that companies temp contractors.

Pairs this with #OfflineIMAP for a complete mail delivery, archiving, and filtering solution on your own infrastructure that is both secure and completely under you're ownership and control.
