Some of the new folks I've followed are... interesting.
Like full on conspiracy theory nuts.
But I'd much rather follow them rather be stuck in my own ideological echo chamber.
If anything it makes me question, modify and sometimes even strengthen my own beliefs.

Most of the time when "free speech" vs disinformation is talked about in regards to the big platforms de-platforming, the conversation is missing the fact those sites are algorithmically curated and monetary incentives for the company to increase conflict. It was never more clear to me how that works than when I came to sites like Mastodon. Particularly among media types, they could easily promote alternatives over changing those other platforms.
Does anyone here own a #microscope? How often do you use it?
I am thinking of getting one but don't want it to be one of those impulse purchases that end up gathering dust.

I'm curious about building /e/ to contribute to extend the device support list and also be able to know what do i need to build custom android roms if someone ever wants it, but i'm completely lost here.
I'm researching about it right now, but for speeding the things a little, do you have any guide or something you would recommend me to read, or some post that could help me in building /e/ for new devices? :D

OSM is the community built map of the world. Anyone can edit the map and all the data is freely available and usable in any of your projects.
Start in your own neighborhood. Maybe your street is missing or named wrong. Update the corner shop hours. Map the parks or sidewalks. Anything helps and many hands make light work!
