"correct" isn't even the right word.
Sometimes it is just a harmless misunderstanding of ones position, because you know what, it's difficult to communicate on microblogging platforms!
Intellectual humility is to acknowledge those differences and cordially engage in good faith.
There is a human on the other side.
We often forget that.

I want a social media where people make hesitant, timid arguments and then are politely corrected by folks who know more and then everyone smiles and goes about their merry ways.
Too much #kumbaya to be true?

Every one either has to be super passionate or not speak at all.
Points for not yielding even if you are obviously wrong 😐
Bonus if you can use an ad-hominem or absurdly reductive version of your opponent.

Shutting down accounts due to inciting violence != censorship due to mild disagreement.
This is coming from someone who doesn't agree with the Trump twitter ban.
You can easily find alt-right accounts on all major platforms even today.
Agree with your point on monopolies tho.
That's what happens when the anti-trust legislation is weakened to be virtually toothless.

@gritnot I like to think it's due to Whatsapp notifying everyone of their new privacy policy.
People in the US don't realize how massive Whatsapp's userbase is.
There are a Billion+ users just between Brazil and India.

If all of my messages are E2E encrypted then how are they gonna use anything I send?
