There are more people with internet access outside the United States than in.
@Obscurequokka You could now ask the question whether it is more important who hosts, creates and maintains the infrastructure or who provides the content.
In my own very subjective experience American content seems quite out of proportion with respect to the proportion of the world's population they make up.
