IBM has just realised the Power ISA as open source, this is a great step towards open hardware!

@blacklight447 that is great news! It seems that IBM is following the trend of releasing open instruction set architectures set by RISC-V and MIPS.

@Marno yh, also , power is a lot more mature already then risc-v. Because of this, I think it will be a lot more likely for it to picked up by a company to make open hardware. Maybe raptor (makers of the Talos II would be interested).
