It also uses the same frequencies as WiFi , so it may create more interference.

Yeah, some terminals have Ctrl+backspace, and ctrl+u or Ctrl+k.
Terminal hotkeys are good for that.
Alternatively there is also increasing the repeat rate for keys when held.

@iceberg2520
Hopefully so! Will be interesting to see how it goes for us both.

True, many open-source, but I was actually thinking about electron apps and some stuff that uses the most recent opengl.
I have some simple open source apps I'd like and last time I tried it was because opengl was one minor version (1.3 -> 1.4?) Behind or because electron wasn't available.

@cassidyjames
There are a lot of applications that are either not up to date or simply not made for ARM.

Now that we are going to have to write keybase off as a lost cause, anyone have an alternative?

Hey everyone.
I don't easily find many presentations on privacy that are all that in depth.
Does anyone have any freely available ones to suggest?

They bring it into another room, and considering other things I have heard, I wouldn't be surprised if they are also embedding hardware, somehow.
At least with this software, wiping before going and after returning is a possible solution.

I know privacy-conscious people who'd wipe their devices before and after entering China, but now it seems the surveillance is even more aggressive.

If you enter Xinjiang across a land border they put spyware on your phone.

@michel_slm As I hear, internal security/privacy is pretty good there, just not external.
Hearing that at least supports the assumption.
