firefox android still doesn't manage to properly block autoplay of videos _with sound_ on popular news sites. have folks had luck with any extensions or sekrit settings?

@eloquence idk of this is helpful but I use Firefox focus on android and have never had this problem with Amy site. May I ask which site you encountered it on so I can try to replicate?

@eloquence on my end Firefox focus didn't allow the autoplaying so if it fits your use case you may cinsdier giving it a download. I rarely use my mobile browser and am too lazy to lock it down like my desktop Firefox so it works great for me!

interesting -- initially firefox focus also played the video with sound. after disabling _all_ trackers, it at least stopped the sound, but video still plays. will try using this one for a while
