@johannesg I have my own GitLab server running, with many different projects (some of them don't contain much code, like my university subjects), and to them I can attach kanban-style tasks. GitLab also offers Wiki functionality with links, so I also use that as well.
@null0x0 Many thanks! Let me know what you'd like to change, or just send pull requests if you want!
I am a Computer Science student on my last year of university. I am looking for someone friendly who wishes to help me with my final thesis: https://github.com/L1Cafe/XYZ, it's a programming language.
It doesn't have to be a single person to help me, and it doesn't have to be full-time help. Suggestions are always appreciated, but it would just be great to have someone friendly to chat with who has experience with compilers and parsers.
If you don't, maybe you can boost this? Thx!
@null0x0 Nice! You used staticus, right?
I thought it could use a good facelift, and made this fork, check it out: https://github.com/Kydara/Andromeda
Live demo at https://status.kydara.com/
It still needs work, but it's a bit prettier in my opinion. :3
Anonymous email forwarding, open source with paid features, capable of using gpg. Sounds good so far

@nikolal I already run my own. :)
Yes, it is too much work indeed, but I also learned a lot.
@ultem It depends on the hardware you're planning to install it on.
I'll go ahead and assume the hardware to be standard workstation or server-grade hardware you physically own. In which case, that is sufficient, yes. Install the evaluation version, then activate online.
@nikolal Can I selfhost? 😀
@punkscience @kev not that I know of. The Telegram groups I'm in consist mainly of close friends and direct conversations through Twitter and Reddit.
@kev I keep up to date through this Fediverse account, my Twitter account, and LinkedIn.
I am also subscribed to a few tech and cybersecurity podcasts that I like.
Lastly, I am in a Telegram group where we discuss cybersecurity and consumer tech.
Reminder: I have developed a fully static status page. I wouldn't consider it production ready just yet, there are some cosmetic quirks that I'd like to fix soon, but it is regardless just usable for the time being https://github.com/Kydara/Andromeda
You can see it in action at https://status.kydara.com/
Do let me know if you'd like any changes made to it, or if you have suggestions or ideas.
@selea @mhamzahkhan Ah, I see. Yes, indeed. SETI@home is going to be very mad.
@selea Why sad?
Current favourite music genre: Asian atmospheric instrumental. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=liRHO8QTAq4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0el39Qudo-0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7IXOJprmeI
Sometimes categorised as "Lo-Fi".
Pure bliss.
@mgrondin I recommend you go full-on with Yubikeys. Get a USB-C Linux phone, a USB-C Yubikey, and you just need the Yubico Authenticator desktop app, and it's all done! A great experience, and crazy secure as well.
Encryption has greatly enhanced privacy and security in the past few years. But in 2019, law enforcement officials in the US, UK, and Australia launched an all-out attack on encrypted messaging, to users’ detriment. https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2019/12/fancy-new-terms-same-old-backdoors-encryption-debate-2019
People I admire: Scatman John.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hy8kmNEo1i8
His birth name is John Paul Larkin.
Did you know he suffered from a severe stutter? Before singing, he hid behind pianos because he was afraid to talk to others.
In 1995, at age 53, he became a worlwide star with his hit "Scatman (Ski-Ba-Bop-Ba-Dop-Bop)". He passed away at age 57, merely four years after becoming incredibly famous.
#ComputerScience & #Engineering student, #cybersecurity enthusiast, #privacy advocate.
I blog about CTFs and system administration. Sometimes a bit of reverse engineering as well.
