@sheogorath ah, you’re right. I’m a postmaster myself and try to stick to standards as much as I can, and I cringe when other postmasters decide to violate standards openly. Yeah, the localhost mailer daemon can present the user with an error message from the server, right? This error message can contain such link.

I’m just looking for an effective solution because SpamAssassin doesn’t cut it anymore and some of my users are drowning in very obvious Nigerian prince spam...

@Tutanota

@thegibson less boisterous? I’m going to take that as a hint to post more openly, more often.

I like you too! 😉

@sheogorath nice! I will definitely be implementing this over the summer, many thanks!

@sheogorath Cloudflare onion service? That is very interesting. Where can I learn more?

@antonlopez @switchingsocial@mastodon.at @rnickson

@antonlopez @switchingsocial@mastodon.at @rnickson unfortunately, that is simply not true. They don’t just block Tor because they “produce a lot of traffic”, but because malicious actors often abuse the Tor service. This is a fact.

And given the fact that a single Tor exit node could be serving both a malicious actor and (for example) a journalist reporting on an oppressive regime, if both use Tor browser, Cloudflare is unable to perform fingerprinting, and thus serve challenges to both users.

Hey @Tutanota, that’s a great way to avoid spam! Is this system developed in-house? I would love to learn how it works. Do you use Postfix?

@rnickson @switchingsocial@mastodon.at I don’t think you can solve spam, DoS and malware at the same time without relying heavily on information intelligence and huge sets of tracked data. I certainly haven’t seen it yet, I hope someday, someone proves me wrong.

The Internet is being destroyed, and freedom of expression is getting more and more limited with the excuse of "ensuring public safety", "combating terrorism" and "protecting the younger, most vulnerable people". Dark days ahead of us.

Austrian Government Seeks to Eliminate Internet Anonymity – With Severe Penalties derstandard.at/2000101677286/G

This is from the CTF challenge.

What does this mean? When can I expect an invitation? I've read their documentation at docs.hackerone.com/hackers/hac but they don't explain what private programs are...

@jj you are correct. Maybe I should have pointed out that the NSA likes to spy and lets other countries spy as long as they’re allies. When it’s about Moscow or Beijing, things get a bit tense.

@thegibson Thanks, will do. I already follow lots of people in the trunk for IT, infosec and such, so probably I follow a lot of people in common, much appreciated!

@thegibson bro thanks for your boost. Lots of people followed me afterwards because of it. 🤗
