Serious question: how could a math test be "culturally biased?"

@gwent This is reasonable. It does seem like existence is more likely other than how we think of it. If its any consolation, it seems unlikely (statistically, again) that everyone is a figment of YOUR imagination as opposed to any other way around lol. So I think whatever is going on, we're all sharing it together. 😬

@gwent Yeah I hear you. Like what is the cause and what is it that provides even a 1 in infinity chance.

@gwent I think we're all laymen on this topic. Yeah it's interesting. I'm going to speculate: If nothing is around to perceive anything (i.e. living creatures), essentially infinity is able to pass more or less instantaneously from the perspective of any potential future observers - so even if its against the odds - infinity passes and probability (however small) becomes irrelevant. We as observers just see the outcome that is already here.

From one of my texbooks:

"Marketing scientists using MRI scans and EEG devices
have learned that tracking brain electrical activity and blood flow can provide companies
with insights into what turns consumers on and off regarding their brands and marketing."

Just so you know.

@gwent yeah the mind can get pretty creative on this topic and sometimes go down a scary path

Sometimes, we get a glimpse of the dystopian future that might exist if the collection and misuse of personal data goes unchecked.

This is one of those moments. This is where it leads. This is why we fight.

Know when to zoom in and when to zoom out.

Tunnel vision is good when focusing on work or trying to solve challenging problems.

Tunnel vision is bad when you are lost in yourself, ruminating.

The big picture is good to consider when in need of perspective or inspiration, but the big picture can overwhelm. Appreciate the incremental wins toward the goal.

> British sausages are sometimes called bangers because back then, sausages had a habit of bursting open while cooking. ... This is the reason why people called them bangers, it was a slang term that they used to refer to sausages, because bang is exactly what they would when you cooked them.

@MangoMamba Maybe they'll do gun shows with mass vaccinating haha
