@thedeltaflyer Yeah behavior like this is weird to me. I could give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they're just moving too quickly to realize. I think these are like office politics strategies that people pick up consciously or unconsciously.

But I will pose you 1 question rhetorically, to consider, but not necessarily to answer:
Are you giving yourself excuses to avoid taking on responsibilities that would be good long-term, because they scare you?
@aparrish I think you're stretching the definition of "work" here...
@dianoetic I find writing also helps organize the thoughts. Sometimes when crafting a response, I find that what I was thinking didn't make all that much sense and I have to reconsider it. Especially if I want to communicate my thoughts to someone in a coherent way.
