@Wetrix @kravietz that’s not a question that precludes growth based on green technology, so what’s the relevance?

@Wetrix @kravietz wow, that defensive? You don’t present sources ‘only if’ someone else does: you present sources because they validate your argument. You’re trying to disprove consensus science, yet you have zero evidence. You’re the one arguing against the scientific orthodoxy, not me. Without sources you have no leg to stand on. Me? I’ve got the UN and American science as a whole.

@Wetrix @kravietz list your sources. You’ve not done any first hand climate research- so your option is all based upon what you’ve watched in a conspiracy film. It’s time to display sources

@Wetrix @kravietz man-made climate change doesn’t preclude the Earth having naturally varying cycles - why artificially pit the two as mutually exclusive? They aren’t and have never been claimed to be. This is anti-Vaxxer levels of American brainwashing at work here.

@Wetrix @kravietz it doesn’t keep anyone poor: sharing advances on environmentally sustainable practices and energy generation actually has the opposite effect. China is both the biggest polluter and the biggest investor in Green energy generation. That’s no coincidence

@Wetrix @kravietz no, that response is distinctly anti-science. The evidence is clear: man made CO2 being added to the environment through the burning of fossil fuels since the dawn of the industrial revolution (and not-coincidentally the beginning of the Age of Capitalism) is changing the earth faster than at any time ever before. There is no science to show the opposite.

@kravietz @Wetrix needs more than hope. Needs complete decarbonisation of the entire capitalist system which is predicated on cheap fossil fuels based energy and products derived from oil, including the transportation of food and goods. This is a MASSIVE undertaking. Unprecedented.

@kravietz appreciate that, but no DE s provide any nice GUI tools for determining what applications can use what interface(s) - so how to pick low latency vs high bandwidth vs VPN vs Tor interface on a per app basis?

@Wetrix there aren’t laws. It’s a man-made theory. And everyone has a right to a family life. It’s clearly stated as a protected right in the UN declaration of human rights, to which the USA is a signatory.

@Wetrix it’s as far removed from communist as errrr neoliberal Capitalism can get. Not a coincidence. lol

@Wetrix it’s called capitalism and it’s fantastic for crushing the spirit and independence out of human beings. It’s designed and run for the capital owning 1%. Socialism is the answer.

@killyourfm and spyware? What guarantees will we have that the chips/BIOS/management engine isn’t pre-RAT’d?

Can anyone point me to a readable yet detailed guide on how to multi-home a Linux box and how to understand how the multiple TCP/IP stacks would work and interact? Cheers!

@killyourfm Come across any Linux Distros that have a security centre app/panel built in where you can do AV/Malware scans, like Defendet on Windows? I’ve not found one - curious :)
