Yeah but Imagine not having a facebook account but your family and friends share their contacts list with facebook. later you discover that your phone number is in a massive leak. Facebook's filthy hands are far reaching.

Question: If I would want to talk with people about hobby/topic/thing that is not related to the instance I'm sighed in, should I open another account dedicated to that hobby in a different instance, or should I use this account for everything?

I am asking because my assumption would be that people joined this community to probably talk mosly about privacy related topics, and would not be very keen if people posted about art, for example, in the local timeline.

I don't intend to use facebook regularly, but there's no escape from the fact that half of the population still use it, which to my regret forces me to still use it.

Does anyone know a way to browse Facebook without an account and privately? Not interested in complying with their ToS and PP.
